Notebooks mini pc notebook

Our notebooks mini pc notebook laptops can be found at Bob Johnson's Computer Stuff.  Sometimes called mini laptops used refurbished which I would say that when you say notebooks and laptops you are referring to the same thing.

Mini PC Notebook

The mini PC notebook as an example would be like the Dell Latitude C400 or the Dell Latitude L400.  Which I think of as a mini pc notebook.  The notebook should be considered a mini notebook if it weighs less than 3 lbs and has a 12 inch or smaller screen.  This of course is my definition.  They do make laptops a bit bigger that might be considered mini however I have always thought that smaller is better.

Notebooks versus Laptops

I guess that long ago when pc computers were just coming out (the stone age) and companies were reducing the size of these beasts and creating some of the first portable computers they called them notebooks.  Most of the older notebooks would be considered a desktop computer today.  I think that they called them notebooks because they were just bigger than a regular notebook 3 ring binder. (A big one)  Today we seem to be reverting back to those big beasts of yesteryear with the desktop replacement laptops that have 17 inch screens and are heavy.

We use the word laptop today and interchange it with notebook as a definition of a portable computer.  The notebooks mini pc notebook is a laptop which is small and very portable.
