We sell used Armada M700 Laptops. The Compaq Armada M700 Laptop has models that range from the PII to as high as PIII 1 GHz units. They are thin and usually very reliable. The batteries can be a disappointment but otherwise I find that they are fairly nice looking.
Some downsides to the Armada m700 is that the CDROM and Floppy drives need to be swapped out. in order to use the drives. However there is an external cable that allows you to plug your floppy drive into the parallel port of the M700 making it an external drive so that you can use both drives at the same time. I have this cable. Call me if you need it. Here are the various used Armada M700 laptops we have sold over the years. Compaq Laptops. I do have stock on some models. I also have a lot of parts for the M700 so if you need plastics or replacement parts give me a call.
I will say that based on the age of this model you might want to consider a newer unit. We would suggest a Pentium 4 or better unit for under $350.
