Inserting new memory into the Dell Latitude Laptop

You now need to line the notch up with the keyed socket and insert the memory.  It is inserted at an angle like the memory that was removed.  It will almost seem like it snaps in.

Using your finger illustrated in  Figure 6-2.  Push the memory down so that it snaps into the clips on each side of the memory slot.

You can add a 2nd SIMM just as easily.  Just remember to line the notch up with the keyed memory slot.  Just use your finger and snap the memory down being careful to line up the snap clips correctly.
