We have included the refurbished mini notebooks here to also include the definition of notebooks for our purposes as laptops.  We carry a variety of refurbished notebooks of which some are considered mini or small.  Another good way to describe them would be used sub notebook computers.

An example of a refurbished mini notebook would be the Toshiba Protégé 3480CT or the Dell Latitude L400 PIII 700mhz Internet Ready Used Laptop.  Both of these mini notebooks weigh less than 4 pounds.  They have their pluses and minuses however.  They are nice because they are lightweight and small hence the description mini notebook.  Their CDROM and floppy drive are external which is an additional 2 items to worry about when traveling or moving your laptop.  In addition to these older models you can also look at the Dell Latitude D400.  This unit is in the same size specs as the Dell Latitude L400 and the Dell Latitude C400.  So you do give up some convenience when looking for that refurbished mini notebook.

As with any thing though it is all in how you look at the features of any notebook.  I always say that you never know what a person is looking to do.  The external drives may be a positive.  After all if you are not going to use the drives on your ventures you could leave them home.  Just carry the mini notebook with you.
