This repair is so easy that it's almost silly to even have a tutorial for it. All you need is a Phillips-head screwdriver. This is one of the few repairs that doesn't even require you to power down.
Step one: unscrew two screws
Remove the screw securing the right bracket (part #: DFKE0852) and the screw securing the left bracket (part #: DFKE0851). Take the brackets off and remove the old handle. Try not to lose the four washers. Not losing the four washers is by far the most difficult part of this repair, but it's still really easy.
Step two: install the new handle
Did you lose the four washers? That's all right. If you bought your replacement handle from us, it came with four new ones. Put the handle in place, pop the brackets back on, and screw in two screws. That's it. We really think you'll be able to "handle" this job (ha!). We believe in you.
