The outside features rigid, KryptoShell body material, a polymer far stronger than other plastics, with a premium look and feel that sits comfortably alongside magnesium and aluminum. Snugly-fitting covers protect a myriad of ports and extension slots. The keyboard is exceptional for a laptop of any kind, providing punchy feedback and water-resistant sealing. The hard drive is encased in a shock absorbent caddy with a preheating element that allows the laptop to function in temperatures as low as -4°F. With all these rugged features, it's no surprise that the S400 G2 meets MIL-STD-810G military standards for shock, vibration and temperature.
On the inside, we have an Intel Core 5-3320M 2.60GHz CPU, 8GB RAM standard (upgradeable to 16GB) and—wait for it—an Nvidia GeForce GT 730M discrete graphics card! It's very rare to find a rugged laptop with a discrete graphics card, so if you need one, you'll want to snap this laptop up before we sell out.
