Semi-rugged Toughbooks with touch screen displays are something of a rarity. Typically, if you want touchscreen capability, you'll have to go with a fully-rugged option. If touch is important to you, but you don't want a hulk of a computer, this is your solution. In 2009 when these things came out, their starting price was nearly a thousand dollars over what you'd pay for a standard CF-52. In retrospect, you can kind of see why they weren't a runaway success for Panasonic. Fast forward to the present, and these units are harder to come by, but much more reasonably priced (if you are buying a refurbished one from Bob Johnson). Our supply is extremely limited, so if you want this unique piece of Toughbook history (and a kickass computer to boot), you'd better act now.
