Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 Heat Sink
A heat sink is an attachment for a chip that prevents the chip from overheating. It has a thermal conductor to carry heat away from the central processing unit (CPU) into fins that provide a large surface area for the heat to dissipate throughout the rest of the computer, thus cooling both the heat sink and processor.
Signs that you need a new Heatsink
Signs from your Toughbook indicate a failing heat sink. Some common indications include:
- Slowing down the computer, frequent freezes, blue screen of death
- Corrupted data
- Accumulation of bad sectors
- Strange noises (like clicking or whirring sounds)
- Overheating computer
If you notice any of these signs, react immediately to save your files and prevent any data from being lost.
Order yours today to keep control of the temperature in your CF-31.
