Locking the Port Door
It also has a lock mechanism to stop unauthorized users or accidents from opening the door. Slide the lock switch to the unlock position, then pull the latch lever to open the battery bay door. Line up the door's hooks with the slots on the laptop before pushing it shut until it clicks. The lock switch has to slide into the locked position so the port door does not simply fling open.
