Do a search on the model of your laptop. For example if you have an IBM Thinkpad you should look on the bottom of the laptop for they type number and serial number. You can use the support site to get alot of information as well as the manual for your laptop based on those numbers. For a Dell computer or laptop you just need the service code on the bottom or back of your computer. This will allow you to look up the original configuration and manual for your particular laptop or computer.
