The V110 meets military standards for ruggedness, specifically MIL-STD-810G, ensuring it withstands the rigors of extreme conditions, including drops, shocks, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations. One of the best defenses it has against drops is the rubber bumpers on the corners of the computer. These bumpers help absorb some of the impact of any drops.
The Ingress Protection (IP) rating indicates how well an electronic device protects its internal components from dust and moisture. The V110 has an IP65 rating, which means it can keep out solid debris effectively and is water-resistant. Water resistant in the sense that it could withstand rain and slight water spray, but would not be able to withstand being submerged in water.
