Put your applications and equipment connections at the center of your next laptop purchase. The Durabook S14I, listed here as the S14, combines a 14-inch notebook layout with configurable ports, displays, wireless hardware, and battery options.
At Bob Johnson’s Computer Stuff, Inc., we offer new S14 configurations for diagnostics, field service, utilities, public safety, and other mobile work. Choose the features your workflow requires rather than paying for a setup that does not fit your equipment.
The current S14I platform provides two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C connections, USB-A ports, two Ethernet connections, HDMI, and a serial connection. Review the exact configuration for its included interfaces.
Additional expansion choices can include a smart card reader, ExpressCard 54, a barcode reader, or a second serial port and additional USB-A connection. Some options share the same expansion area and cannot be selected together.
Tell us which diagnostic interfaces, industrial equipment, network tools, or authentication devices you use. We can help you check the available combinations before you order.
The S14I uses a 14-inch Full HD display with a 1920 × 1080 resolution. Durabook offers optional 1,200-nit DynaVue sunlight-readable displays with or without a touchscreen.
Outdoor visibility and touch capability are separate configuration choices. If you need glove input, a stylus, or supported wet-touch operation, confirm the touchscreen option and compatible accessories before ordering.
A non-touch configuration may suit keyboard-driven applications, while a touchscreen can support workflows that alternate between typing and direct screen input.
The current S14I platform uses Intel Core Ultra processors and DDR5 memory, with manufacturer-listed memory configurations up to 64GB. Compare the processor and installed memory against your applications and multitasking requirements.
Storage choices include different NVMe SSD capacities and an optional second SSD in supported configurations. Review the product-page selections, or contact us if you need a combination that is not shown.
Dedicated graphics are also available on supported factory configurations. If your software requires a particular graphics capability, tell us the application and its requirements before purchasing.
Dual hot-swappable batteries are an optional S14I configuration, not a feature to assume is included with every laptop. Confirm the installed battery arrangement and follow Durabook’s battery-change instructions.
Cellular connectivity, dedicated GPS, vehicle docking connections, and antenna pass-through options should also be checked individually. A platform supporting these features does not mean every configuration includes them.
If you already have a vehicle dock, office dock, or specialized accessory, share its model number with our team so we can help verify compatibility.
Durabook specifies IP53 protection, MIL-STD-810H environmental testing, and four-foot drop testing for the current S14I. It is a semi-rugged laptop, not a fully rugged model.
IP53 describes dust protection and resistance to spraying water under specified test conditions. It does not establish dust-tight protection, resistance to water jets, or protection against immersion.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for port covers, handling, and permitted exposure. Choose the protection level that fits your work rather than assuming every rugged laptop tolerates the same conditions.
Durabook lists a three-year limited manufacturer warranty as standard for the S14I. Review the specific warranty package included in your product listing or quote.
Accidental damage coverage is a separate coverage consideration. Do not assume it is included unless it is explicitly specified for your order. Manufacturer warranty terms and exclusions apply.
We arrange shipment through our U.S. provider rather than keeping Durabook computers in our own warehouse. Plan for approximately 6–8 weeks for shipment, depending on configuration and provider availability.
If you have a deployment deadline, need a custom configuration, or are purchasing for a team, call 302-659-2727 or use our contact page. Include your quantity, applications, required connections, and schedule.

Dual hot-swappable batteries are an optional configuration. Do not assume every listing includes that battery arrangement.
