Move between keyboard-based work and tablet-style input with the Getac V120. Its rotating 12.2-inch touchscreen folds over the built-in keyboard, giving you two ways to work without detaching or carrying a separate keyboard.
At Bob Johnson’s Computer Stuff, Inc., we offer the new V120 G1 in a listed base-specification configuration. If your applications require different hardware, contact us to identify a suitable factory-configured Getac SKU.
Use the V120 as a notebook when typing reports, working with keyboard-driven applications, or entering longer notes. Rotate and fold the display into tablet position for touch-based tasks, document review, or handheld use.
The keyboard remains attached in either mode. Consider the complete computer when planning how you will carry, support, or mount it, especially if you are replacing a standalone tablet or a different convertible laptop.
Getac specifies a 12.2-inch LumiBond touchscreen with a 1920 × 1200 resolution and brightness up to 1,000 nits. Its 16:10 layout provides a different screen shape from 16:9 notebook displays.
Compare that resolution and layout against your applications. Getac also provides touch-mode functionality for finger, glove, and compatible stylus input. Confirm your required input method and any included accessories before ordering.
An active digitizer pen requires the optional dual-mode touchscreen configuration. Do not assume purchasing a digitizer pen alone adds that capability to a standard touchscreen unit.
Our new V120 listing shows a base-specification configuration. Review the product page for the included processor, memory, storage, operating system, and installed hardware.
Getac offers V120 platform options including Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 processors, memory configurations up to 64GB, and different SSD capacities. These are configuration choices, not features automatically included with every V120.
If you need upgrades, we must identify a Getac SKU with the required hardware factory-installed. Call 302-659-2727 before ordering to discuss memory, storage, GPS, cellular connectivity, readers, security hardware, or specialized connections.
The V120 platform includes USB-A, Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, Ethernet, HDMI, and a docking connection. Additional interface options depend on the selected configuration.
Some expansion choices are mutually exclusive. For example, Getac lists the optional barcode reader, USB-A plus serial combination, and USB-A plus MicroSD combination as alternatives rather than options that can all be selected together.
Share your complete equipment requirements with us before ordering so we can help identify a configuration that supports the connections and readers you need.
Getac specifies dual batteries with LifeSupport battery-swapping technology. Follow the manufacturer’s procedure when replacing batteries, and discuss additional batteries or charging equipment if your work involves long periods away from a power source.
Vehicle docks, cradles, charging accessories, and carrying equipment are configuration- and accessory-specific. Do not assume your existing V110 dock or another laptop’s accessories will fit the V120.
Getac specifies IP66 protection, MIL-STD-810H environmental testing, and four-foot drop resistance for the V120, subject to the applicable configuration and test conditions.
IP66 describes dust-tight protection and resistance to powerful water jets. It does not establish protection against immersion. Follow Getac’s instructions for seals, port covers, handling, and operating conditions.
The V120 includes Getac’s standard three-year Bumper-to-Bumper manufacturer warranty, including accidental damage subject to its terms and exclusions. This is separate from our Limited Lifetime Warranty for eligible refurbished computers.
Our current V120 listing gives an average lead time of 4–8 weeks. Confirm availability and timing before ordering, particularly for a different factory configuration or a fixed deployment deadline.

No. The V120 is a convertible laptop with a rotating screen that folds over its built-in keyboard. The keyboard stays attached in tablet position.
