Find a new Durabook laptop that fits your software, equipment, and working conditions. At Bob Johnson’s Computer Stuff, Inc., we offer semi-rugged and fully rugged Durabook laptops for field service, utilities, public safety, automotive diagnostics, and other demanding work.
Compare the S14I, S15, and Z14I model families, then review each configuration for its processor, memory, storage, screen, connections, and warranty coverage. Available upgrades and accessories help you build a setup around your actual requirements.
Choose the level of protection your work requires, then compare performance separately. A fully rugged classification does not automatically make a computer faster, and a semi-rugged laptop may provide the features you need without requiring the same protection level.
Start with your software requirements and the equipment you need to connect. Check the processor, memory, storage, operating system, and required ports on the exact configuration you plan to order.
Our product pages show available configurations and selectable options. If you need an upgrade or feature that is not listed, contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability, compatibility, pricing, and lead time.
Depending on the model, features to discuss may include:
Not every feature is available on every model or configuration. If a particular connection, display, or installed option is essential, confirm it with our team before placing your order.
Already using a vehicle dock, office dock, diagnostic interface, or specialized cable? Share its model number and connection requirements with us so we can help you check compatibility.
For outdoor work, compare the specific display configuration rather than assuming every Durabook includes a sunlight-readable touchscreen. Similarly, confirm any required stylus, glove-input, battery, or mounting features before ordering.
Durabook laptops offer different levels of environmental protection. Compare the specific model’s IP rating, drop-test information, and operating limits against the dust, moisture, temperature, and handling conditions it will face.
An IP rating describes tested protection against solid-particle and water ingress. MIL-STD-810H information describes environmental testing. Neither should be treated as a promise that a computer is waterproof, shockproof, or protected against every type of accidental damage.
We arrange fulfillment of new Durabook computers through our U.S. provider rather than keeping every configuration in our own warehouse. Plan for a typical lead time of approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on the configuration and provider availability.
Some configurations may be available sooner, while special requirements can take longer. If you have a deployment deadline, call us before ordering so we can check current availability and clarify the expected fulfillment and shipping timeline.
New Durabook laptops include manufacturer warranty coverage. The warranty package depends on the model and configuration, so review the individual product listing or quote for its duration, included coverage, and exclusions.
Do not assume standard limited coverage and accidental damage coverage are interchangeable. If your organization requires accidental damage protection or a particular service package, ask us to confirm that coverage before purchasing.
Tell us about your software, work environment, required connections, existing accessories, budget, and deployment schedule. Fill out our Selection Assistance Form or call 302-659-2727 for help comparing Durabook models and configurations.

The S14I and S15 are semi-rugged laptops, while the Z14I is fully rugged. The S14I and Z14I have 14-inch displays; the S15 provides a larger 15.6-inch display and a dedicated numeric keypad.
Start with the protection level and screen layout your work requires. Then compare the exact processor, memory, storage, ports, display options, and warranty package.
If you are unsure which model fits your environment, contact us with your software, equipment, and working requirements.
Available options depend on the model and configuration. Check the individual product page for selectable upgrades, and contact us if you need a feature that is not shown.
We can help you check available memory, storage, display, connectivity, port, battery, and accessory options. Some features require a specific configuration and cannot be added to every laptop.

Plan for a typical lead time of approximately 6–8 weeks. Timing depends on your configuration and availability through our U.S. provider.
Some configurations may be available sooner, while special upgrades or limited availability can extend the timeline. Lead time should not be treated as a guaranteed delivery date.
If you need a computer by a specific date, call 302-659-2727 before ordering so we can check current availability and expected shipping timing.
New Durabook laptops include manufacturer warranty coverage. Review the product listing or quote for the specific warranty package included with your configuration.
Standard limited warranty coverage and accidental damage coverage are different packages. Do not assume every Durabook laptop includes identical protection.
Contact us before ordering if you need confirmation of the warranty duration, accidental damage coverage, exclusions, or available service options.
Compatibility depends on the exact laptop, dock, equipment interface, software, and required connections. Do not assume an accessory will work simply because it fits another rugged laptop.
Share your dock or interface model number, software requirements, and required ports with our team before ordering. We can help you check compatibility and identify any additional accessories you may need.
