ATEX Zone 2/22 Certified for Hazardous Locations

The R8-EX carries ATEX Zone 2/22 certification with the markings Ex II 3G Ex ic IIC T4 Gc and Ex II 3D Ex ic IIIB T135°C Dc. Zone 2 covers areas where explosive gas, vapor, or mist may occasionally be present, and Zone 22 covers areas with combustible dust or fibers. That makes the R8-EX a fit for oil and gas refineries, petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and any facility where standard tablets are not permitted.
