Should I choose a rugged laptop or a rugged tablet? |
Choose a rugged laptop when you expect to type frequently or prefer a built-in keyboard. Consider a rugged tablet when you will primarily carry the device, enter information by touch, or work away from a desk.
A rugged 2-in-1 can offer both options. Compare the complete setup, including any keyboard, dock, or mount you will need, and check whether those accessories are included.

Do your rugged computers come with Windows 11? |
The installed operating system varies by product and configuration. Check the Base Specifications and available options on the individual product page before ordering.
If your organization requires officially supported Windows 11 hardware, contact us before ordering so we can help you identify an appropriate configuration. If you need Windows 10 for legacy software, ask about availability and support considerations. We offer a downgrade option on all compatible computers. Standard support for Windows 10 Home and Pro ended on October 14, 2025.

What warranty comes with my rugged computer? |
Every refurbished rugged computer that we sell (Panasonic Toughbook, Getac, Dell Rugged) includes our automatic, non-transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty.
For covered computers, diagnostics and labor are included for as long as you own the computer. The first six months also include eligible replacement parts, excluding batteries. After that initial period, necessary replacement parts are charged separately.
Extended warranty options are available for eligible Toughbooks. Exclusions apply, including system batteries and part replacement due to physical damage. Review our complete warranty policy for terms and exclusions. For other brands and new computers, check the individual product listing for applicable coverage.

Do all rugged computers include GPS, cellular connectivity, or barcode readers? |
No. These features depend on the specific computer and configuration. A feature supported by a model family is not necessarily installed in every unit.
