BJCS at the Atlantic City Police Security Expo

For the past 16 years, our company has proudly participated in the Police Security Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This annual event is recognized as one of North America's premier showcases for law enforcement technology, equipment, and accessories. The diverse range of products on display is specifically designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and effectiveness for professionals working in the police and security sectors.
This year, a dedicated group from our team attended the expo: Bob, Zach, Matt, and Doran. Their expertise and enthusiasm helped showcase our offerings and engage with attendees. To learn more about our employees, visit our Meet Our Team page.

This Years Experience At The Expo

Our booth, located at number 1433, featured a wide selection of rugged laptops and tablets—products we proudly stock and support year-round. This year, we demonstrated several cutting-edge models, including the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-55, Panasonic Toughbook FZ-G2, Dell Latitude 5430, and Getac F110. Live demonstrations allowed visitors to experience firsthand the durability and advanced features of these devices, which are especially well-suited for demanding law enforcement environments.

Coincidentally, Panasonic’s booth was set up directly behind ours. This year, they did not have a demo unit available for the newly released Panasonic Toughbook FZ-56, which is currently in high demand and difficult to acquire due to its recent launch.

Our Favorite Highlights From Other Vendors

This year’s expo stood out from previous years due to the significant presence of automotive vendors. Numerous dealerships showcased vehicles tailored for law enforcement applications, and there were at least two fully equipped command station vehicles on display.
One particularly memorable booth featured innovative software solutions designed for police use. What made this booth unique was the display: the interior dashboard of a Ford Explorer, fully outfitted with mounting equipment and docking stations, set up outside of the vehicle. This setup allowed attendees to easily examine the integration and functionality without the constraints of a car’s interior.
Another highlight was the FirstNet booth, which featured a mobile electric deer hunting stand outfitted with a 5G antenna and advanced communication technology. This creative adaptation showcased how 5G connectivity can be leveraged for field operations, supporting both safety and coordination for law enforcement and first responders.
A collection of retro police vehicles from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware was also on display, providing a fascinating look at the evolution of law enforcement transportation. While speaking with the exhibitor, we learned that a classic Fox Body Mustang—formerly a Florida police car—was scheduled to appear, but inclement weather and the car’s lack of modern safety features like ABS prevented its arrival.
We also had the opportunity to connect with several of our vendor partners, including Getac, Havis, Dell, and RAM Mount, among others. It was valuable to exchange insights and discuss upcoming innovations directly with these industry leaders.
We met representatives from TG3 Electronics, an emerging company in the rugged keyboard market. They generously provided us with samples of their latest keyboards, which we plan to review on our YouTube channel soon—stay tuned for our in-depth thoughts and hands-on impressions.
Overall, our team thoroughly enjoyed connecting with fellow professionals, discovering innovative products, and gaining insights into the latest trends shaping the future of law enforcement technology. We’re already looking forward to participating again next year!
